Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Threads Studio (the "App"), operated by BringNext LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when you connect and use a Threads account through the Meta Threads API. The App helps account owners create, schedule, and research content for Threads accounts they own or manage.

Data we access via the Threads API

  • Account & token: your Threads user ID, username, and an access token issued after you authorize the App, used only to make API calls on your behalf.
  • Your own posts: text, media URLs, timestamps, permalinks and topic tags of posts on the Threads account you connect.
  • Post insights: aggregate metrics for your posts (e.g. views, likes, replies) via the threads_manage_insights permission.
  • Keyword / hashtag search results: when you search by a keyword or hashtag, the App retrieves public Threads posts matching your query (post text, author username, permalink, timestamp) via the threads_keyword_search permission, solely to display them to you for content research.
  • Contact requests: if you submit the request form on our website, we store the email address and any optional details you provide, only to contact you about opening an account.

How we use your data

Data is used solely to provide the App's features to you: displaying your content and metrics, publishing or scheduling posts you create, and showing search results you request. We do not sell, rent, or share Threads data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

AI drafting providers

When you use the AI drafting feature, the prompt you wrote is sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) so it can return drafts. If you turn on the option to reference your best-performing posts, the text and view counts of your own top posts on the connected account are sent along as style examples. Nothing else from your Threads account is sent to these providers, and none of this happens unless you use the AI feature. We do not sell that data or use it for advertising or profiling; how each provider handles what it receives is governed by that provider's own terms.

Permissions we request

threads_basic, threads_content_publish, threads_manage_replies, threads_manage_insights, threads_keyword_search, each used only for the corresponding feature described above.

Storage & retention

Access tokens are stored securely and used only for API calls. Content and search results are shown to you in-session and are not permanently stored unless you explicitly save a draft; saved drafts remain until you delete them. Tokens are removed when you disconnect the account or request deletion.

Data deletion

You can remove your data at any time by (a) removing the account inside the App, (b) revoking the App's access in your Threads / Instagram settings, or (c) contacting us at [email protected]. The App also honors Meta's data deletion callback and deletes the associated token upon request.
